On the right of your save file there will be a smaller “ Select Play Mode” menu. That’s because the option to host a multiplayer game becomes available once you press “ resume game” in the main menu.
Path of exile 2 multiplayer how to#
Of course, you can also host your own game, however, since there are no big options in the menu for that, you might not know how to do it at first. On the right, you can change the level of difficulty you’re looking for, but keep in mind that every multiplayer game is slightly harder compared to the single-player one. These games take place on a variety of maps, so you can choose whichever you feel like playing. The option to play multiplayer will only become available once you’ll finish the game’s tutorial mission, “ All in a Day’s Work”.įrom that point, when you return to the main menu, you’ll have the option to join the games of other players and play with them. How to Play Co-op/Multiplayer in Shadow Warrior 2

But, it might be a bit hard to understand how it works, especially since the game doesn’t really explain it at all. I don’t fully understand why blizz keeps making those decks, are they trying to hang on to the casual players at all cost? To me it feels like a fundamental mistake but I can not look in blizzard books so I honestly don’t know.Although Shadow Warrior 2 is designed mostly for a single player, it also features a very fun co-op mode. Now that isn’t bad if they at the same time also attract a huge amount of players who love playing those decks but is that really still the case? Like all those face decks hs has, they are so simplistic in nature, really putting of many people from playing. The game is past its peak popularity and the players who remain maybe are a bit less casual card game lovers who would like to see a bit more complicated game. Going this route would lose the very casual players but on the other hand one could wonder how many very casual players are still left.

Maybe for constructed add the lands lol,i know they have been taken out to take away the aspect of getting land locked or whatever its called but as a whole I think lands and maybe different mana types could make the game more interesting. Maybe something like show 100 cards and you pick 30 from that so you can have a bit more synergys and such. Current arena isn’t all that great and I think it could be much better if the drafting process would be improved. When I did play mtg life in bars ages ago we loved buying 2 big packs each (think it was 60 cards a pack?) and make a deck with those cards and then just play. Maybe arena could take over,if they change how it is being drafted. This isn’t meant to bash constructed either, just feedback in the hope it can help blizzard make a product that is amazing (lile BG) once more). (just some random thoughts,i do hope blizzard will do well if only because they gave us BG and because i did have a lot of fun with constructed and arena in the past. (which is something hs2 theoretically could fix if blizzard chooses to go that route). Somehow its the core mechanic of the game itself.Įven MTG seems more attractive to me right now then hs constructed, maybe constructed it to shallow in general. Though in all honesty I don’t think the price point is the issue.

Maybe the price point of constructed is an issue, yes you can play while spending only a little but to have a lot of fun and try out everything does cost a lot. Its difficult to say and you cant realy compare the two as they are so vastly different. I don’t know what it is that makes BG far more fun and interesting (at least for me) though it would be interesting to find out. Maybe BG will get boring eventually as well though that doesn’t automatically mean those people will go back to constructed instead. Though the main thing is,BG is way more fun and way more interesting at least for now. You can play constructed cheap but then you are forced into 1 or 2 decks which gets boring pretty quickly. I don’t know,BG is way more fun,far less frustration and at least for now also way cheaper. It should still be able to revitalize the game,if it is not a huge fee to enter. Personally I haven’t even looked at my new cards since opening them but quiet a few streamers are back to constructed so I guess its still pretty much alive.Ī new core set seems long overdue though probably wont make a difference for the people who really love BG and made the switch more or less permanently. I am not sure how big of a toll the release of BG had on constructed.
